in a puff of smoke Moredred appeared alongside the podium smiling from ear to ear like a cat about to eat a cannery
"Good Evening, nice weather today don't you think?" He said as he folded his wings behind his back
all the toys remained quiet as he spoke no one replied to his question and just silently stared at him as he seemed to study his hand with interest
"well, that's enough suspense and being courteous doesn't suit what's about to happen, the chooser has chosen incorrectly"
as he finished his words he snapped his fingers and the frowning cup fell back and disintegrated before it hit the ground within was nothing at all.
some of the toys seemed to tense up at the reveal, others silently smirked to themselves at their first win, hoping this would make up for the failure of the previous game.
"I would love to tell my darklings, the tainted souls among you that this makes up for the previous game but unfortunately there was a majority vote for a small risk & reward"
Moredred as if to prove this once again snapped and three slips of paper flew out of the podium and hovered above Moredred, each one having low or small written plain for all to see.
Moredred snapped and a hovering tea set on a tray appeared he grabbed a cup and the teapot poured some for him, he took a sip before using his free hand to snap again burning all the vote slips into chars that fell like rain.
These chars then became a tornado clearing away the emotionless cup first that was empty and then clearing away the smiling cup showing a golden ball momentarily before it too was swallowed up into the pitch black tornado
While this was happening Moredred continued to sip his tea while the toys held on to the each other, the slab anything to not be sucked up by the tornado's strong winds, once it had finished cleaning up it began to shrink.
The tornado slowly with its debris became a small dark ball about the size of a tennis ball around this time Moredred returned his empty teacup to the floating tray and with a snap it was gone.
"I don't think I need to tell you the answer to the riddle this time...so with this our business today is done"
Moredred threw the ball towards the toys and suddenly it blew-up and everything went dark and all the toys could see nothing.
A few seconds later and the darkness passed and Moredred was gone, all the toys looked around and noticed a few toys had been damaged during the darkness.
There was no medic among the toys so all they could do was sleep hoping the pain would subside...
"darkness found all around...pain is real that is what I feel...one heart down...what are you going to do"
