It was early on the second day when Moredred came and awoke all the toys with a trumpet that blared across the slab, instantly all toys were up and standing, no one looked different but there was a definite change in the atmosphere of the crowd of toys all the good toys wondered if this was due to the sudden return of a toy to their side, would they reveal themselves? could they believe them if they did? these questions swirled in their heads.
"Alright, excuse my behavior from last time I am quite a sore loser...as they say...well then since you defeated my previous riddle oh so well I'll try to up my game" Moredred then with a wave of his hand lifted three new cups out of the ground they were all patterned with different colors and each had a theatre mask on its front which was the only difference they had.
The left cup had an emotionless mask, the middle had a smiling mask and the right had a frowning mask each one was black in color and had a flame under them causing the twisting shadows to make the eyes appear alive "I usually use these at parties when its starting to slow down, everyone brightens up when they see them, the smiling mask is a party favorite, with the frowning one a close second"
Moredred smiled before taking his leave and as he flew away playing a rather haunting melody on the trumpet as he went out of sight and soon the sound itself could be heard no more.

Well, remember what Moredred stated about the riddles. As long as we recall the pattern or the last one (if it was true or false), then we should be able to determine the validity of this statement until every fifth round. It was stated that the original placing of the ball being in the second cup was correct, and recall the riddle where he basically said that sometimes his hints are obvious... well, in the narrative, Moredred had touched the second cup. Now, don't tell me that the hint there wasn't obvious... my fault was taking the chance to believe that it was a lie, so therefore, this riddle is a lie since the one prior was the truth.
As for the riddle...
I thought the second part meant that the Jester was empty in the inside... except for his heart of joy since it had clearly used the word "save." I believe the ball can be considered the "heart of plenty" and the Jester will play as the cup. Think about it, cups can hold a ball within, but that ball is relatively small compared to the volume of emptiness within the rest of the cup.
Let's not forget that the first riddle happened to be true before the switch... meaning that this statement should be flipped head over heals!
And that leaves me with the third cup for that matter.

suddenly you all hear the same sound from last round as if something was being impacted but then after a few seconds of silence you hear the same popping sound as well, the progression of sound came from right-to-left

Sorry, but I would like to clarify on some statements. I don't believe that the teleporter is determined to be evil... Moredred is evil. //shot (I have no clue what that last part means at all, but let's use it anyways) The teleporter has the ability to move the ball left or right, and if he or she actually applied their power last round, then the ball was determined to go right. Thus, it would only be in the first or second cup, which would shouldn't have affected the chooser's end choice if that player had already decided what the original cup was to be. Of course, unless if the teleporter wishes to actually state themselves, then we can not know for sure, unless you are the teleporter, yourself, Riku.  Last round, that movement by the teleporter, more or less, aided the chooser in discovering the correct cup. Since it was stated in a roundabout way that the ball had transitioned from right to left. Unless you were also the chooser last round while tainted Riku, then we wouldn't know what the chooser's own choice was to start with... maybe they had chosen cup three because of its color... it's a possibility, no doubt. To start with, no one even knew if the first riddle was true or false, so in reality, the chances had never changed then. Although we still do not know the teleporter's intentions... think about it; in the chat, Moredred stated that a teleporter... can also be a chooser at one point, so what if the teleporter had moved the ball to delete one answer choice making the chances from 1/3 to 1/2? This, here, could apply even if the teleporter was not the chooser. Rather, you sound so certain that this teleporter is evil when... it doesn't really matter considering that we still do not have that person's identity. The role's ability is to simply move the ball left or right once, and Moredred had only stated that the riddle would be the only factor varying between truth and false, so no doubt, would the statement of the ball's movement would be true, unless we all experienced some sort of illusion since the statement was from our own observation. Even if the teleporter was evil; no one would be given where the ball is at the very start. As a tainted, Riku, were you PMed the location of the correct cup? If so, then this would be even simpler to play for the chooser if her or she is tainted, since chooser roles do not discriminate between sides based on the description of each role, the evil chooser would barely have to lift a finger to win. Also, again, it doesn't really matter unless the teleporter wishes to reveal themself, and its not like we can simply vote them off forever... how can one even deduce who the teleporter is just based on us simply voting for a cup we suppose is hiding a golden sphere inside? Might as well stay with my cup since it is all up for the chooser to decide anyways. They may have voted in here, but perhaps, they just told through PM what their actual choice was to be. |

Oh silly Rinku. What's the fun in that? Asking where the cup is is just so boooorrriiing! I'm sure Mordred wouldn't try to ruin his own game like that.
Then again he's beginning to remind me of a certain Goblin King. So Perhaps when this gets too tough, he'll throw in the towel.

Still not addressing what was proposed about the teleporter, but oh well.
Somehow... I never really like Riku from Kingdom Hearts that much, even when I played as him in Dream Drop Distance... probably because the first Kingdom Hearts game I played was 358/2 Days.
So... if that is how the system works, which I will at least give some gratitude for clarifying, then I will move my vote... to the emotionless one since well, it's a fifty/fifty chance now, correct?
I'm hungry again... I wonder... do toys need to eat or drink? (totally wants macaroni and cheese)

Suddenly Moredred appeared behind the kiki doll looking quite annoyed as his wings and hair were standing on end seemed to indicate.
He then spoke slowly and clearly so that she would not miss a word all while keeping his face a few inches away from hers.
"I will not have it said that, I, your gracious host, cheat, the rules are like a contract between the players and the Game Master and as such are binding."
He slowly pulled away as he calmed himself lowering his wings and hair back into place before looking over at Riku. He seemed to consider something before gliding over to stand in front of him. Moredred's mischievous grin that he had had on the first day was apparent on his face as he slowly opened his mouth and began to speak his voice remaining quite calm almost a complete flip to his earlier speak
"Ahh Riku, you are mistaken the chooser can go against the masses, the chooser has complete freedom to choose what cup he wishes, the chooser is only bound by one thing he can't choose the risk"
Moredred reached into Riku and pulled out a diamond blue heart and held it up for all to see, it shone like a star in the mid morning light, he continued as Riku's face lost a bit of color at the sight
"This Riku is the chooser's override each of you may use it once, as the chooser to chose the risk level and go against the risk majority vote as well as my own rule that the same risk may only repeat twice."
Moredred threw the heart back into Riku's body before wrapping his wings around himself and fading into thin air.
all the toys watched as a bit of color returned to Riku's face at the return of the heart. |

All of the following is rhetorical... just don't even try to answer: Riku... heartless are beings that originated from darkened hearts, but their name comes from their lack of emotion after transformation. You would have become a nobody, since they are what remain after losing one's heart to darkness. And wait... we technically have four hearts, but how come the only one that appeared was the diamond heart? An animal with more than one heart is... an octopus or a squid! Perhaps, we are hallucinating souls of sea creatures at Death's door (plot twist) and Moredred is the game master that will keep the cycle in motion forever so we will never realize so! |
