The contestants stood still with their weapons of the prior round still in hand. They had assumed that by then, they would have returned to the bird cage, but no such thing had happened. The two eyed their opponent as they clutched both of their items close to their chests. It was out of fear that the other would take advantage of the situationthat they remained in a stalemate. Just as they were about to throw in verbal insults in an attempt to lower the other's moral. Aries had dropped onto the stage from the sidelines. He was panting heavily behind his head gear as he fumbled to straighten his garments. He held up a single finger for pause before gulping down his ragged breathing. Now, straightening his back, Aires concluded, "Congratulations on being the final two contestants. As you may know, the winner will receive a wish of their choosing with no limits attached. The loser... like all those who have lost in former rounds, will meet an unfortunate fate to put it lightly. For your practice round, both players are required to answer a questionnaire. There is no need to buy items as you two won't be the ones fighting, and any previously bought items that have not been used yet will be converted for use in the final round, even your weapons and runes. So... I should probably let you move onto your questionnaire now. A reminder before you begin filling it out is to make sure you answer truthfully. (in the perspective of your current character)"
An opening appeared to the side as Aries faded back into it, and upon exiting, a slab of conrete fell onto the opening, sealing it off from prying hands. A pair of sheets fell from the sky, as they drifted onto opposite sides of the field. Nova and Mac had both dived for these papers and inspecting both sides, was a series of questions. Most of the inquiries had only two possible choices except for the last, which remained a free response. It appeared that no pencil or writing utensil was needed to mark off choices as the answers could be selected by a simple touch of the paper.
Questions:
Society or Nature?
Mind or Body?
Sky or Earth?
Selfish or Selfless?
Illusion or Awakening?
Physical or Intangible?
Night or Day?
Infinite or Zero?
If you were to win, what would your "dream" be?
